Very often, the iconic image from a wedding is the couple portrait after the ceremony, in their formal attire, before the reception festivities. Planning for ideal natural light - usually at sunset - is crucial. I seek out a stunning location, flattering light and creative angles. But sometimes just the easy body language and tender emotional connection between newlyweds is perfection for portraiture. Bride and groom are glad to have this first moment alone as a married couple. Suddenly there is a happy realisation, “Hey, we just got marred!”
